    Prince formed The Revolution in Minneapolis, Minnesota in as his backing band for his first concert tour. The original lineup consisted of Gayle Chapman on keyboards, André Cymone on bass, Dez Dickerson on guitar, Doctor Fink on keyboards and Bobby Z. on drums & percussion. The band went nameless for almost three years while supporting Prince live and appearing in his music videos.

    "Sometimes It Snows in April" is a song by American musician Prince. It was included on his eighth studio album Parade, which was also the soundtrack to his film Under the Cherry Moon (). Prince wrote, performed, and produced the song alongside Wendy & Lisa, who co-wrote the music.. The song's narrator recounts memories of Christopher Tracy, Prince's character from Under the Cherry Moon Genre: Pop, soul.

    So Sometimes it Snows in April was acutally always a Prince song and W&L added something to the Parade version. Me thinks people give too much credit to other people in his bands without prove. [Edited 3/5/16 pm] virtually unrecognizable version of "Sometimes it Snows in April", which means it probably sounds nothing like the Parade release.

    Lyrics to 'Sometimes It Snows In April' by Prince. Tracy died soon after a long fought civil war, just after I'd wiped away his last tear I guess he's better off than he was before, A whole lot better off than the fools he left here I used 2 cry 4 Tracy because he was my only friend.
